Let us learn some chords now. The best thing to do is to take few simple chords that are easy to switch. We will work on chord shifting between each of the chords taking one unique pair at a time. Take your time don’t rush. (Let us chase perfection, not speed). Once you can manage to switch in time, speed will automatically come
A metronome is a device that produces beats and practicing with a metronome helps you to develop good sense of rhythm. The tempo is denoted by beats per minute (B.P.M). You can vary the tempo by changing the B.P.M.
Let’s start with only down strokes. While strumming make sure you count the
beats in rhythm like 1 2 3 4.
A chord progression is a sequence of chords played in a particular order in a loop.
We will learn a few chord progressions using the chords we already learned. After mastering these progressions, you can create your progression with these chords.
Music is normally divided into equal time lengths called bars , each consisting of same number of beats. Here we are taking 4 beats per bar thus we play each chord one bar.
